Happy Friday!

We’ve had a great week here in the classroom. We’ve been working on articles, our math operations, globe maps and continents, and biomes. In two weeks we will be going to West High School to see their production of Aladdin. We will be taking a bus and leaving the school at 9:15am. The cost of the field trip is $8.00 per child. If you can join us on this trip, that would be great! The October snack calendar is coming home today also. Thanks for all the wonderful and nutritious snacks that have been coming in!

We’ve been busy here in the classroom this week. We’ve been working proper and common nouns, inventorying the environment for nouns, setting up our reading groups, and practicing our math facts. It was great to see everyone who stopped by for our open house yesterday! Thanks again for all your wonderful support and help both in and outside the classroom!

We’ve had a busy week here in the classroom. We had the first great lesson last week and have been following up with some work on the different layers of the earth. We’ve also been working with nouns and getting started with all our math operations and fact work. Thank you for all the wonderful snacks that have been coming in this week.

Thank you also to everyone who has turned in their parent volunteer form! I will be handing them off to one of our parents, who will compile the forms and come up with a volunteer schedule. If you need another copy of the form, please let me know and I will get one to you. Thanks!
