We’ve had a great week here in the classroom.  Thank you everyone who came swimming with us on Tuesday, it was a great success and we couldn’t have done it without all our drivers and chaperones! We’ve had a great week here in the in the classroom. We’ve been working with verbs, learning about complete sentences and punctuation marks, learning new math operations, practicing the writing process, and doing country research. Today we went the Apple Store and learned how to create presentations based on our research.

There is more information on Denali’s Facebook page and tickets can be purchased in advance at  https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lincolns-heart-spreading-the-love-to-the-seay-family-tickets-19432967529  or at the door for $10 per adult and $5 per child.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful canned food that has been coming in! The turkey drive has been also been a great success and they have enough turkeys already. Next Wednesday, November 25th, at 12:30pm, is our Thanksgiving feast. We’ve only had a few families sign up for dishes to bring, if you can’t make it into the school to sign up, please send me an email with what food item you would like to bring and I will add you to the sign up list. Thanks! The children are getting excited for it and I hope you can come and join us on Wednesday!
Two permission forms are going home today. One for Friday, December 4th, from 10am to 11:30, where we will be walking to the Captain Cook Hotel to see the gingerbread house display and learn more about its construction from the head cook Joe Hickel. This is a driving field trip, so if you can chaperone and drive for this trip (and I hope you can), please check in with office and make sure all your paperwork/copies are up to date in order for you to be able to drive.
