Happy Friday! We’ve had another busy week in the classroom. October is a busy month. Parent teacher conferences are coming up on the 16^th and 17^th. Your scheduled meeting went home today, if you will not be able to make it at that time, please let me know and we can work an alternative time out. I am happy to announce I’ve been working on the classroom website and it will now be updated with classroom news. You can find it at http://www.denalischool.org/room183/. There are also links on there to Spelling City, Lexia reading, and TenMarks math. These are all resources you can use with your child to reinforce skills in spelling, reading, and math. I have also included a calendar with upcoming classroom and school events and soon I will be posting picture from the classroom and field trips.

Thanks again all who have taken the time to assist with the classroom, your time is incredibly valuable to us!

 

Upcoming Events:

 

• October 9^th, 10am: Field trip to the Museum to learn about sting calendars. Please make sure to return your permission form and $5 for the class.


• October 10^th, 6:30pm-8pm: Museum Night at Denali.


• October 11^th: End of Quarter (No school). (Spelling test will be on Thursday!)


• October 16^th: Half day (dismissal at 12:30) and Parent Teacher Conferences.


• October 17^th: Half day (dismissal at 12:30) and Parent Teacher Conferences.


• October 18^th: In Service (No School)
