November 15, 2013

Happy Friday! It’s been a busy week in the classroom. We have been finishing up our works on North American and moving into a more in depth exploration of the United States. We will be doing State research and hopefully between all of us in the classroom, we can cover all the states. We have also been working on making sure everyone completes his or her math and language works every day!

A week from next Wednesday, the 27th, from 12:30 to 1:30 all the primary classrooms will be having a group Thanksgiving celebration/feast. Families are welcome and encouraged to join us! The feast will be potluck style. Families are invited to bring in a main dish, side dish, or dessert. It can be something special to your family, a dish you always have at Thanksgiving, a cultural dish, or anything you want to share with us. The dishes will be divided among the different classrooms and we will visit each classroom to get our food and meet in the multipurpose room for a community building feast! After lunch, we will return to the classroom and share some of the things we are thankful for. It should be a lot of fun and I hope you can be there!
