Happy Friday! I hope you have all been enjoying the sunny weather. April is gearing up to be a busy month. We have SBA testing next week for the third graders followed by a Denali spirit day on Friday. The following week we will have a field trip to museum to visit the new Gyre: The Plastic Ocean exhibit. It is tentatively scheduled for Friday, April 11th, in the morning after spelling tests. I am still waiting for confirmation and will let you know as soon as I can.
On Monday the 21st at 12:30, we will be going to the Pioneer School House to experience a recreation of what school was like in 1915 in Anchorage. At the end of the month we will a guest speaker from Kids Don’t Float to talk to us about water safety and then on May 8th, we will take a trip to West High School pool to test out our water safety skills.
