Happy Friday!

We’ve had a great week here in the classroom. We have been busy comparing triangles and playing the detective triangle game, reviewing when to use capital letters in our writing, and multiplying fractions.

Thank you to everyone who has sent in their confirmations for parent teacher conferences and permission forms for our field trip to West High School on the 26^th to see the puppet show about the history of Anchorage. If I haven’t yet received yours yet, another form will come home today. Thanks!

Since next week is such a short week (no school on Monday or Friday and half days on both Wednesday and Thursday), there will be no new spelling words or spelling test. I am sending home a homework log so that you can record your reading and math practice.

We had a great first day of skiing on Tuesday! We will not be skiing next week due to the short week, but we will be skiing on Tuesday, February 24^th, and March 3^rd from 10:45 to 11:45am. Please make sure your child has all their winter gear on those days! Thanks!
