We’ve had a great week in
the classroom. We’ve been finishing up our Australian works, land and water
forms, the art project for the gala, math, and language works. Yesterday, we
took a fun trip to the Pioneer School House and learned what it would have been
like to go to school in 1915. Thank you to everyone who has been turning in the
permission forms for our upcoming field trips. Next week the Kid’s Don’t Float
program will be in our classroom on Tuesday, May 5th and Thursday,
May 7th. On Friday, May 8th, we will be taking a bus to
the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Since this trip will be taking up a majority
of our Friday, we will have spelling tests for that week on Thursday, May 7th.
We are still in need of a
few more drivers for our trip to West High School pool on Thursday, May 14th.
If you are able to make time in your schedule to join us for that trip that
would be great! Thanks!
