Happy Friday!

We’ve been busy this week in the classroom! We’ve been working on prefixes, nouns and articles, using compasses and rulers in geometry, and exploring echinoderms. We will be having homework next week even though it is a four day week. It is a review week for spelling, which means the word lists are a compilation of the last five weeks. Our spelling test will be on Thursday, the 16^th. The following week, October 20^th-24^th, there will not be any homework.

Enclosed is also information on parent teacher conference scheduling. If you cannot make the time listed on your sheet, please let me know as soon as you can and we can figure out an alternative time and/or date. Thank you!

This coming Thursday is our field trip to the Apple store downtown. Thank you to everyone who has turned in their permission forms and volunteered to chaperone. It should be a fun time. If you have not turned in your permission form, I have sent home another one. Please sign it and return it as soon as possible. Thanks!
