We’ve had a short, but busy
week here in the classroom. We’ve been working on noun families, parts of an
angle, continuing to explore invertebrates. This week we looked at different
kinds of mollusks and got to examine some clams. Thank you to everyone who took
time from their busy schedule to come into the classroom for parent teacher
conferences this week. It’s been great meeting with you all and sharing your
child’s progress and celebrating her/his successes so far for this school year!
Just a reminder that on Thursday,
the 30th, we will be heading to the museum to visit the Lego
exhibit. We will leave school at 10:30 and return around 2:15pm. Since the Lego
exhibit is a special exhibit, the cost is 3 dollars per child to get into it. Thank
you to all who have returned their permission forms and enclosed the $3
payment. If I haven’t received your child’s permission form, I have enclosed
another form. Thanks!
Next Thursday is also the
Denali fall carnival. Ms. Amanda’s and our class have been nominated to do face
painting again! We will be looking for any volunteers who would be willing to
come and help us paint. I will post a sign up sheet outside the classroom, or
feel free to email me if you are available. It should be a rocking paint filled
time!
