Happy Friday!

We’ve had a great week here in the classroom. This week we continued to explore Antarctica and have learned many fascinating things about it. We have also been working on homographs, triangle classified by sides, and fractions. We are all still bug free as of this morning!!! J On Thursday, we celebrated our 100^th day of school and the third graders got to test out the new testing interface.

Parent teacher conferences are coming up in February. For these conferences we will be doing things a little bit differently. The children have been working hard to pick different works in the classroom that they are really proud of and want to show you. They will be writing reflections on their works and then presenting the reflection and work to you during our conference time. The only real change for you as parents is please make sure your child can attend our conference time. If this means you need to make an adjustment to the time we had last conference time, please let me know as soon as you can and we can work something out. In addition, if you feel like there is anything that you like to discuss with me without your child being present, just let me know and we can set up another date to address that. Your children have been working hard and are excited to show you all that they have learned!
